The Forest Effect is an initiative focused on creating lasting environmental change by restoring degraded land into thriving forests. Through reforestation projects like La Maestra, the program emphasizes the importance of ecosystem regeneration while fostering collaboration between local communities, environmental experts, and universities. We are transforming a 120-hectare cattle farm, used for the last 60 years, into a conserved tropical forest that supports the surrounding ecosystem as part of key biological corridors.
